Tigard Tesla Gets Blasted

In the early hours of Thursday, March 6, 2025, a Tesla dealership in Tigard, Oregon, was targeted in a shooting incident. Surveillance footage indicates that at approximately 1:46 a.m., an unknown individual fired at least seven shots, shattering windows and damaging three vehicles. One bullet penetrated an office wall, striking a computer monitor. Thankfully, the dealership was unoccupied at the time, and no injuries were reported.

This event is part of a concerning trend of vandalism against Tesla facilities nationwide. Recently, federal prosecutors in Colorado charged a woman for attacking a Tesla dealership with Molotov cocktails and spray-painting derogatory terms on the property. Additionally, in Salem, Oregon, a man was arrested for throwing Molotov cocktails at a Tesla dealership, causing significant damage.

Tigard police are collaborating with federal agencies, including the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, to investigate the incident thoroughly. Authorities have yet to identify a suspect or determine the motive behind the shooting. While the reason for this specific attack remains unconfirmed, officials acknowledge the pattern of recent politically motivated vandalism targeting Tesla dealerships.
